Our philosophy is built on thousands of years of shared experiential and observational knowledge. Ayurveda is the ancient Sanskrit word meaning "life science" (ayuh: life; veda: science or knowledge).

The earliest known cosmetic and medical products were made from plant derived ingredients in India more than 5000 years ago. Ayurvedic practices included the use of botanical mixtures, herbal pastes, oils and oral supplements.  

Sacred texts known as the Vedas containing hymns and incantations describe Ayurveda as magical alchemy, botany and chemistry healing the inner and the outer dimensions of humans.

Inspired to create divine skincare, we learned the secrets of the Vedas noting the importance of quality, meticulous measurement and detailed procedural instruction. There was at once a renewed emphasis on purposeful, plant-based ingredients. 

In applying these highly advanced concepts during our research process, we formed a deep connection with the energy of plants creating a contemporary system for empowerment, freedom, and for longevity.
